‍The French Ministry for Infrastructure, Transport and the Sea (DGITM) has selected Wiremind and its flagship platform PAXONE to design, deliver, and operate GITE (Gestionnaire de l’Inventaire, de la Tarification et de l’Exposition des Données) — the new national system that will unify inventory management and ticket distribution across all Trains d’Équilibre du Territoire (TET) lines.

This initiative marks a major milestone in France’s journey to modernize and open its rail market to competition. With GITE, the country is building the digital foundation that will enable railway undertakings to compete — and collaborate — within a single, connected ecosystem.

A National Step Toward Unified Rail Ticketing

GITE will serve as the central inventory and ticketing system for all TET lines — both day and night trains. It will be France’s first multi-operator, single-instance system, bringing together multiple railway undertakings within one shared digital environment.

Traditionally, each operator runs its own system, which increases costs and fragments the passenger experience. GITE changes that model. The first operator to integrate will be SNCF OCEAN, for the Nantes–Lyon and Nantes–Bordeaux lines, with production expected in 2026.

By 2030, all TET operators will connect to this platform — creating a truly unified booking and travel experience for passengers nationwide.

Built on Wiremind’s PAXONE, GITE will act as a neutral, scalable, and transparent system that centralizes essential functions: inventory management, fare structures, distribution, revenue sharing, and after-sales operations.
