We are proud to announce that Wiremind has raised €35 million in its first strategic funding round.
The round brings on three new investors: IronWave (formerly Wendel Growth), Bpifrance Investissement through its Large Venture fund, and Seaya Andromeda. The co-founders, CEO Colin Girault-Matz and CTO Charles Pierre, remain majority shareholders and retain control of the business.
This investment represents a new chapter. Since the company’s founding in 2014, it has been completely self-financed, while also being profitable. In 2025, revenue grew 67% across the board, and we now work with more than 80 clients, 23 of which joined us over the course of the year.
This round of fundraising will allow the company to accelerate its efforts towards two strategic priorities that will define its next chapter: expanding into new international markets and deepening investment in AI research and development.
Internationally, Wiremind will continue its growth in South America and extend its reach into the Middle East & APAC regions. These markets build upon our success in deploying solutions across Europe and North America.
Research and development of machine learning and AI at Wiremind has been a core part of the company DNA since the beginning. Our teams design and deploy our own machine learning models and optimization algorithms, which sit at the core of the systems clients use to manage revenue, capacity, inventory, and distribution.
This investment allows the company to scale its existing R&D efforts and add a new layer, large language models, extending its capabilities both within the decision engine that drives pricing recommendations and in the tools that make the platform easier to use.
Our CEO and Co-founder, Colin Girault-Matz, commented on the round, saying:
"Charles and I began our careers more than fifteen years ago in the rail and aviation industries, so we have a unique understanding of the challenges our clients face. It is this first-hand knowledge that we leveraged to grow Wiremind over the years, while staying completely self-financed and investing in our own R&D. Today, we're accelerating our efforts given the speed at which the market is adopting artificial intelligence tools. This financing round will allow us to reach rapidly growing geographic markets where decisions on technology investments are being made right now."
Colin and Charles met in 2012 in the revenue management department at SNCF. They saw an opening for solutions that use machine learning to forecast demand and optimize capacity, and in 2014, they founded Wiremind.
This year, Wiremind is enhancing the AI capabilities within CAYZN and PAXONE by integrating generative AI directly into their analytics interface. This will include pricing recommendations with structured, explainable reasoning, natural-language automation of business rules, and auto-generated performance reports.
Together, these make CAYZN and PAXONE the industry's first platforms to combine mathematical optimization, machine learning, and generative AI in a single, transparent system built for the evolving needs of transport operators.
CTO and Co-founder, Charles Pierre, shared his perspective, stating that:
"We don't just add an AI layer to an existing product. Our systems have been built on our own forecasting and optimization models since day one and they run every day at the heart of our clients' revenue management operations. Generative models now complement that foundation, giving teams a new way to interact with these engines and act on the decisions they produce. This funding allows us to move faster on both fronts."
Victoire Laurenty, Founder and General Partner of IronWave (formerly Wendel Growth) commented on the investment, saying:
"In twelve years, and without a single euro of outside capital, Colin, Charles and their teams have built systems that today drive the revenue of the largest rail and air operators. This financing serves two ambitions at once: bringing this technology to the markets that are equipping themselves now, and making the leap into generative AI on the optimization and machine learning foundations laid ten years ago. We are proud to support a team of this caliber."
Adrien Neel, Investment Director within Bpifrance's Large Venture fund, added:
"Wiremind brings together all the qualities that Bpifrance Large Venture looks to support: recognized technological excellence, remarkable execution, and the ability to renew its growth engines through innovation. We are delighted to support Colin and Charles in this new phase of development, helping them consolidate their leadership in solutions for passenger transport operators."
Pablo Pedrejón, Partner at Seaya Andromeda, shared:
"Colin and Charles have built a leading technology company in software for the passenger transport and events industries, and they have done it profitably. Their systems fill the trains and planes that are already running, which is the cheapest emissions cut available to any operator, and the reason Wiremind fits Seaya Andromeda's impact mandate. They are now expanding worldwide, including Iberia and Latin America, where we have spent thirteen years backing founders. We are delighted to support them in their international expansion."
As Wiremind takes on this new stage of growth, the focus now turns to execution: bringing our technology to the markets equipping themselves today, and building the next generation of capabilities on the foundation built over the last twelve years.
