When Baptiste Jourdan joined Wiremind in January 2026 as Chief Revenue Officer for the Entertainment Product Suite, EVENTORI was already gaining momentum. In less than a year, that momentum has only increased, with more than 40 clients, 20 of them signed in 2026, and international expansion on the way.

Today, we are pleased to announce Baptiste's appointment as General Manager of EVENTORI, as he steps up to lead the business unit.

We sat down with Baptiste to talk about his first months, the move into the General Manager role, and where he wants to take EVENTORI next.

Q&A with Baptiste Jourdan, General Manager for EVENTORI

Since you joined in January 2026, you and your team have nearly doubled EVENTORI's client base in under a year. What's behind that success?

Baptiste: A strong team with an amazing product. When I joined, I realized how lucky I am to have this talented group of people. On the business side, that was simple as the product is amazing. French clubs needed a new generation of ticketing system as they are now more mature and want to achieve more with their ticketing system. Now, ticketing systems are in the core of the clubs’ strategy. The are used to improve fan experience, revenue growth, and occupancy.

Another thing that helped me was the incredibly warm welcome from the team. The support and generosity of spirit in sharing their experiences that I received from my team members Jules Delille, Head of Customer Success and Hugo Messicat, Head of Product, along with our co-founders, Colin, CEO, and Charles, CTO.

You spent ten years co-founding and scaling Toucan. Now, you move from CRO to General Manager, with sales, customer success, and product under your leadership. What from that founder experience are you drawing on to help you lead the EVENTORI team?

Baptiste: At Toucan, I co-created a company where the core values were People → Product and then Profit. Those are the same core values I have found and want to keep promoting here.

As the new General Manager for EVENTORI, I see the role as one that gives me the ability to help people to learn and to support them in achieving new things. I want to my team to grow as managers and as experts. It’s important to give ownership to team leads and promote the breaking down of silos. I try to lead always with transparency, trust, and a common vision.

The key is to do these things as team. We’ve built that common vision for EVENTORI together by asking ourselves, ‘Where do we want to be in 2030’? We even reworked aspects like the “Why”, the “How” and “What” behind the EVENTORI brand to make our vision more concrete and impactful.

Our mission is to help our clients make the best of their events. We envision ticketing systems to be the core strategic growth engines for clubs and event organizers, not just a logistics systems confined to ticketing and access control.

This is what EVENTORI is: a new generation ticketing system powered by AI, simplifying the basics of ticketing and creating a new module that will help clubs and event organizers improve fan experience, optimize revenue and improve occupancy.

Our platforms are also backed by the strong technical ability and the in-house R&D of our teams. Our expertise in AI, ML and strong data knowledge is what makes EVENTORI truly a next-gen product. For example, our revenue management system that we provide for sports clubs is a unique system in the global marketplace.

The vision for EVENTORI is to transform ticketing beyond just the transaction into a lasting relationship between clubs and their fans, and to become the modern ticketing standard internationally. What will make EVENTORI win in the market against the established players?

Baptiste: A few different factors is what will enable us win. First and foremost is our commitment to client satisfaction. Our priority is to make sure clients see and actually experience the value that they pay for.

The second factor is innovation. Innovation is at the core of our systems, and it is what allows us to break existing barriers and have a transformative impact on the world of ticketing. We leave the data ownership to the clubs: our role is to help them make the best out of their data through APIs, pricing recommendations, ML powered forecasts, MCP… the list goes on.

The final factor is capacity to deliver. Velocity and efficiency in an organization is the key to having a strong ability to deliver. As a leader, I love working on this topic: how can I best promote efficiency and pragmatism in an organization, and help it to scale? I see an organization like a machine, something that is complex but at the same time efficient and robust. Importantly, making sure the environment of the team is an utmost priority and to have a sense that our challenges and our successes are faced as collectively, as one.

Looking ahead, what do you see for the future of EVENTORI?

Baptiste: Our goal is to become the European leader in sports ticketing over the next four years. We have the product, the team, and the momentum to get there. Now it's about staying close to our clients, continuing to innovate, and growing together as one team.

New Leader, Next Chapter: What’s Ahead for EVENTORI

With Baptiste’s leadership, EVENTORI enters its next chapter with a clear vision: making ticketing the strategic heart of every club and event organizer.
